Josie on the Rocks is easily melding, not only as a band, but as an idea of where music is
headed. The four-piece is the distinctive union of a metal/Latin guitarist, an EDM/jazz drummer,
and two second-generation Grunge musicians on vocals, keys, and bass. They are bringing life (and live) back to music, drawing from influences of decades past while creating a new ethereal and energetic sound of their own. Influences of rock, neo-soul, indie, and jazz merge with the members’ deep and diverse musical backgrounds to create a genre-bending sound that is elevated by an electric, collaborative stage presence.

Fronted by Lily Silver with Alex Albrecht on bass/vocals, Graham Derzon-Supplee on drums,
and Luis Verdin on guitar, the band has already formed a cult following both in their hometown of
Seattle and on their college campus in Claremont, California. After many shows in Claremont, they played their first Seattle show to an ecstatic crowd at the legendary Venue, The Crocodile, in January 2022 . They are currently recording their first EP at Carbonite Sounds in Ojai, CA with renowned producer and keyboardist, Dave Palmer. It is slated to release in early 2022 .
